West Bengal Minister Chandranath Sinha faced a grueling nine-hour interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday, as the agency continues its investigation into the alleged school recruitment scam.
This session marked the third time Sinha, the state’s correctional services minister, appeared before the ED. The minister arrived with numerous documents and files to assist in answering a new set of questions posed by investigators.
The ED has yet to release an official statement regarding Sinha's latest questioning, but sources suggest his name surfaced in a diary belonging to a key accused, leading to several raids and a chargesheet filed in court.
