Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is scheduled to visit Sweden on Wednesday to meet with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. The meeting will take place in Linkoping, a city known for its defense manufacturing capabilities.
During the visit, the two leaders are expected to hold a joint press conference where they will share news regarding defense exports. Although the name of the company involved remains undisclosed, Linkoping is notably home to Saab, the defense contractor known for the JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet.
Earlier discussions between Kristersson and Zelenskiy hinted at Kyiv's interest in the Gripen jet, a key product of Saab. A spokesperson for Saab has directed inquiries back to the Swedish government regarding the details of the event.
