Trio Arrested in Kanjhawala Shooting of Man Over Alcohol-Fueled Argument
Three men have been arrested in the connection to the shooting of Mohammad Afroz after an argument broke out while drinking alcohol. The incident occurred in the Kanjhawala area, leading to police action, arrests, and the seizure of a weapon, marking another violent episode in the area.

The Delhi Police apprehended three individuals on Tuesday following the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man, Mohammad Afroz, in Kanjhawala. This incident allegedly stemmed from an argument amid a drinking session, according to official statements.
A report of gunfire was received around 6:55 am near Mahavir Vihar. Responding officers discovered Afroz with gunshot wounds to the back of his head and chest at an empty lot. His brother Azad registered a complaint, leading to murder and joint liability charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The investigation identified friends of Afroz—Rohit, Sandeep, and Lucky—as suspects. A raid conducted on a tip-off resulted in their arrest and the seizure of a country-made pistol. Rohit reportedly confessed to the crime, stating Sandeep and Lucky's complicity. Official inquiries continue.
