The third phase of repatriating foreign nationals has been initiated, as confirmed by a Punjab police spokesperson. This initiative is part of Pakistan’s Illegal Foreigner Repatriation Plan, a strategy enacted to tackle the challenges posed by massive refugee numbers influencing national security and public services.
Authorities emphasize the continued operation of holding centers, ensuring deportees are returned to Afghanistan via the Torkham Border, whilst security measures remain heightened.
