Abu Dhabi, March 20 (ANI/WAM): In a significant security operation, the United Arab Emirates State Security Apparatus (SSA) has successfully dismantled a Hezbollah and Iran-backed terrorist network that was operating within the country under a fictitious commercial entity. The individuals involved have been arrested.
The SSA revealed that the network was working under a pre-planned strategy coordinated with external parties linked to Hezbollah and Iran. Their operations violated economic and legal norms, aiming to launder money, finance terrorism, and compromise national security.
Emphasizing the country's firm stance, UAE authorities have stated that any attempts to exploit its economy or civil institutions for terrorism or subversive activities will be countered with stern measures. There will be no tolerance for external interference threatening the nation’s security and stability.
