At the Akasaka Palace meeting, Takaichi lauded Trump's role in fostering peace between Thailand and Cambodia and his efforts in the Middle East. She emphasized Trump's critical role in securing a ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia and hailed these achievements as historic.

The support for Trump's nomination extends beyond Japan, with several global leaders, including Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, acknowledging his peace-promoting initiatives. While the US President did not secure the Nobel Peace Prize this year, his diplomatic contributions continue to receive international backing.
