In a tragic incident of alleged medical negligence, a 32-year-old woman and her newborn lost their lives following a delivery at a private hospital in Faizabad. The procedure was reportedly conducted by untrained staff under the guidance of a doctor who was not present at the scene.

Family members claim that the doctor, Anjali Shrivastava, provided instructions over the phone, which resulted in the newborn being declared dead shortly after delivery. The mother, Soni Yadav, deteriorated quickly and was later pronounced dead at another hospital.

In response to the family's accusations, the health department has sealed the hospital and launched an investigation. An FIR could follow if negligence is confirmed, as the hospital's management and care practices come under scrutiny.
