In a solemn demand for justice, the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) organized a candlelight vigil in memory of two Naga civilians tragically killed in Manipur. Held at Naga Solidarity Park, the event aimed to highlight alleged targeted violence against the Naga community.

The vigil remembered Chinaoshang Shokwungnao from Tushar village and Yaruingam Vashum from Kharasom village, victims of an ambush by suspected militants on April 18. The attack occurred along NH-202 in the Ukhrul district.

NSF President Mteisuding addressed the gathering, expressing collective grief and indignation. He announced that a memorandum had been sent to the United Nations Human Rights Council, denouncing a 'systematic and coordinated pattern of aggression' against Nagas, particularly in Manipur.
