Rajasthan is set to host the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM)-2026, announced by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The event is scheduled for May 23 to 25 in Jaipur and aims to unite farmers, experts, policymakers, and investors.
Addressing an investor meeting in New Delhi, Sharma highlighted the event's role in advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for 'empowered farmers and a prosperous India'. He reiterated Rajasthan's status as a leader in agriculture, offering vast opportunities in food processing and agri-exports.
Existing investments of Rs 9,000 crore, as part of the Rs 44,000 crore signings, have already been initiated in the sector. GRAM-2026 will further this with discussions on modern technologies and initiatives promoting women entrepreneurship in agriculture.
