Drone Strikes Rattle Russian City of Syzran

In the city of Syzran, Russia, a portion of an apartment block has fallen after an attack by a Ukrainian drone, injuring 11 individuals, authorities reported on Wednesday.

Ukraine's recent targeting of Russian energy assets has intensified, coinciding with paused peace negotiations as the U.S. shifts focus to the ongoing conflict in Iran. Syzran hosts a significant oil refinery, situated about 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

During rescue operations, four people, including a child, have been recovered, according to Samara region's Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev via Telegram. Meanwhile, a drone crash occurred in the Kursk region, resulting in the evacuation of 36 citizens with no injuries reported.
