Renewable Energy Alliance: Suzlon and GS E&C Forge Green Future
Suzlon Energy and GS E&C have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in India's renewable energy sector, focusing on optimizing solutions and creating jobs. The partnership, announced at the India-Korea Business Forum, includes developing projects worth billions of KRW and potential wind farm repowering.

Suzlon Energy and South Korean firm GS E&C have embarked on a new partnership to advance renewable energy projects in India. The agreement was formalized during the India-Korea Business Forum, with key dignitaries like Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal in attendance.
The collaboration aims to develop a range of renewable energy projects with a total estimated project size of KRW 80 billion. This ambitious partnership is expected to create around 300 direct and indirect jobs.
Additionally, GS E&C has partnered with Arie Energy LLP to engage in wind repowering projects, enhancing existing wind farms with high-efficiency turbines. This is projected to be a larger initiative valued at KRW 920 billion, anticipated to generate around 100 jobs. In a parallel development, the South Korean fintech platform AFINIT signed an MoU with Yes Bank to boost financial inclusion in India.
