Ukrainian drones launched significant attacks on Russian oil facilities overnight, hitting key targets like refineries in the Samara region, an oil depot in Crimea, and a Baltic Sea port critical to petroleum exports, according to local Russian governors and a Ukrainian military official.

These attacks, intensifying in recent weeks, are part of Ukraine's strategy to disrupt Russian revenue streams essential for the country's war budget. Notably, in the Leningrad region, a fire was extinguished at Vysotsk port's terminal, operated by Lukoil, handling exports of various fuel oils.

Amidst these developments, Ukraine's drone forces commander, Robert Brovdi, asserted responsibility for the attacks on various oil refineries and criticized international policies surrounding sanctioned Russian oil.
