Justices JJ Munir and Tarun Saxena emphasized the societal threats posed by such gangs, which reportedly manipulate and extort victims using women as bait. During the hearing of a petition submitted by five defendants, including a woman, seeking to quash charges against them, the court expressed its firm stance against allowing these crimes to persist unchecked.
