Streamlining Haryana's Wheat and Mustard Procurement

In Haryana, significant efforts are underway to optimize the procurement of wheat and mustard across the state's grain markets. Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajesh Nagar highlighted the government's commitment to prioritizing farmers' interests during a visit to the Sohna grain market in Gurugram.
Nagar assessed the procurement process at the market, interacting with commission agents and farmers. He urged officials to address any farmer complaints promptly. The state aims to fortify the system, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of grievances.
To enhance efficiency, Haryana has upgraded its e-procurement portal. The minister also noted that necessary facilities have been improved to guarantee timely and convenient lifting of produce, reducing potential difficulties for farmers.
