Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis participated in a grand celebration in Nagpur on Thursday to mark 'Gudi Padwa', the Hindu New Year. Addressing the crowd, he expressed his wishes for the occasion, highlighting the cultural pride symbolized by the Gudi and extended greetings nationwide.

Fadnavis praised the festive spirit and the efforts under the leadership of Sandeep Joshi, emphasizing the enthusiasm radiated by the city's transformation into a sea of saffron. Thousands adorned in traditional attire participated in the Shobha Yatra, adding vibrancy to the celebration.

The event featured Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar and saw energetic performances, such as the traditional lezim dance. Organized by the Hindu Nav Varsh Aayojan Samaroh Samiti, the procession illustrated various cultural elements, including tableaux of historical and religious figures, underscoring unity and tradition in Nagpur.
