Godrej Enterprises Group is targeting a 20% growth in its energy solutions business, aiming for a Rs 2,600 crore project pipeline by the end of fiscal year 2026, according to a senior company official on Tuesday. The organization closely monitors West Asian geopolitical tensions, although current operations remain unaffected by the situation.
The spread of Godrej's projects includes building renewable energy infrastructure in Gujarat and Rajasthan, while Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu are investing in transmission infrastructure due to rising industrial and urban demand. With a focus on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, the company's initiatives include constructing power substations up to 765 kV.
Challenges persist, however, with supply chain constraints and a lack of skilled labor posing threats to anticipated growth. The company's proactive measures include working with vendors to increase capacity. Despite these issues, the domestic-centric aspect of the power sector and high localization percentage of equipment offer stability and reduced risk exposure.
