Uttarakhand CM Celebrates Vande Mataram's 150 Years with Patriotic Fervor

In a spirited event marking the 150th anniversary of the iconic national song 'Vande Mataram,' Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami joined the celebrations at Gandhi Park in Dehradun, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad. Addressing the attendees, CM Dhami emphasized the song's deep-rooted patriotic essence and its continuing influence as a symbol of nationalism, citing its creator, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.
Earlier, in line with Republic Day festivities, CM Dhami extended heartfelt wishes to the people of Uttarakhand and paid tribute to India’s freedom fighters and valiant soldiers. He reiterated the state's dedication to fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed and self-reliant India, underscoring the role of dedication, toil, and integrity as cornerstones for achieving this national goal.
“On Republic Day, I convey my best wishes to everyone in Uttarakhand. We honor the martyrs and freedom fighters of our nation,” Dhami declared, urging collective effort towards fortifying India's unity and propelling the nation towards a prosperous future.
