In a tragic incident, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conveyed profound sorrow over a disastrous HRTC bus accident in Uttarakhand that claimed three lives. As the bus journeyed from Chopal to Paonta, it tragically plunged into a deep gorge at Kawanu this morning, prompting immediate action from the Chief Minister.

Sukhu, swiftly gathering details via a phone call, instructed the Deputy Commissioner to extend comprehensive support to the victims' families and ensure optimal medical care for the injured, including deploying helicopters if required.

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri announced through social media that HRTC teams were dispatched from Shimla and Sirmaur. Official guidance was promptly given to several officials, emphasizing collaboration with the Uttarakhand government to address the severe situation.
