In a tragic incident on Monday morning, a devastating road accident took place in the Rangareddy district of Telangana, involving a TGSRTC bus and a truck near Khanapur Gate under the Chevella police station's jurisdiction. The authorities report that 19 people lost their lives, while 20 others sustained injuries.
President Droupadi Murmu expressed her deep sorrow over the catastrophe, branding it as "unfortunate." She conveyed her condolences to the families of the deceased and wished for the rapid recovery of those injured, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
Cybderabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty revealed that the collision was a head-on impact caused by a tipper truck traveling in the wrong direction. Both vehicle drivers were among the deceased. While investigations continue, authorities rush to identify victims and provide medical care to survivors.
