Maharashtra Extends E-Crop Survey Deadline to Benefit Farmers

Maharashtra's Revenue Minister, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, has announced the extension of the e-crop survey deadline in the state to November 30. This move aims to ensure that farmers can fully participate in the digital recording process.

Officials report that only 36 percent of the state's crop area has been documented so far during this month's ongoing digital survey efforts. The extension provides additional time for comprehensive coverage.

Bawankule emphasized that the extended timeline is crucial to allow farmers to access benefits related to natural disaster relief, crop insurance, and loan schemes, preventing them from missing out due to unregistered crops.
