Adani Green Energy Surges Ahead with 28% Profit Spike and Expanding Renewable Capacity
Adani Green Energy Ltd reported a 28% increase in net profit, reaching Rs 644 crore in the September quarter, thanks to its renewable power business. Revenue from power supply climbed, despite a drop in total income. The company is making significant progress in developing its 30 GW renewable energy plant in Gujarat.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced a notable 28% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, bringing the September quarter earnings to Rs 644 crore, with renewable power operations driving growth.
The company, part of the Adani Group, previously recorded a net profit of Rs 515 crore for the same period in the 2024-25 fiscal year. Revenue from power supply saw an uptick to Rs 2,776 crore from Rs 2,308 crore in the second quarter of the previous year.
Despite a decrease in total income from Rs 3,396 crore to Rs 3,249 crore, expenses remained relatively stable. CEO Ashish Khanna highlighted ongoing developments at the 30 GW renewable plant in Gujarat, emphasizing innovative renewable technologies and digitalization to enhance efficiency and safety. By September 30, AGEL’s operational capacity had risen by 49% to 16.7 GW.
