Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has entered into strategic agreements with major industry players, including Oil India Limited (OIL), Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), and Fertilisers & Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT). The Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), signed on Tuesday, aim to bolster collaboration in refining and petrochemical development.

In a significant move, BPCL, OIL, and NRL have joined forces to enhance petroleum product distribution through a new infrastructure project. This will see the construction of a 700-km pipeline from Siliguri to Mughalsarai, a venture valued at Rs 3,500 crore, enhancing the evacuation process following NRL's capacity expansion.

Additionally, BPCL has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by partnering with FACT for green energy initiatives. The agreement includes the trading of organic manure produced at BPCL's eco-friendly biogas plant. These initiatives were formalized at the 28th Energy Technology Meet 2025 in the presence of Pankaj Jain, Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
