Emaar, the renowned Dubai real estate developer, has stated that it has not been approached for post-war reconstruction in Gaza, and its founder, Mohammed Alabbar, emphasized a lack of inclination for involvement, citing that those responsible for the destruction should undertake rebuilding efforts.
Alabbar, speaking at the Reuters NEXT Gulf Summit, reiterated his focus on generating profits for shareholders, highlighting Emaar's pivotal role in Dubai's expansion and international projects like the Marassi Red Sea in Egypt, requiring $17 billion in investment.
While exploring new ventures in India and China, Alabbar remarked on the significant housing crisis in the U.S., suggesting collaboration between state and corporate sectors to address the problem as crucial.
