Celebrating Excellence: 22nd Raising Day of South Western Command

The South Western Command of the Indian Army marked its 22nd Raising Day with celebrations at Jaipur Military Station on Wednesday, emphasizing two decades of distinguished service and operational excellence. Founded on April 15, 2005, this command is the newest within the Indian Army, tasked with defending the nation's western borders.

Lt. General Manjinder Singh, Commanding Officer of the South Western Command, extended heartfelt greetings to all personnel, both in service and retired, as well as their families. He praised the command's dedication, courage, and readiness to tackle evolving battlefield challenges, transforming into a technologically advanced and agile force.

The day's events included a poignant wreath-laying ceremony at Prerna Sthal to honor fallen soldiers. Additionally, guests were treated to a symphonic band performance at the military station, followed by a concert at Jawahar Kala Kendra, bringing the celebration to the wider public.
