Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta marked Hanuman Jayanti on Thursday by offering prayers at the Sankat Mochan Dham in Karolbagh, known for its towering 108-foot idol of Lord Hanuman.

Gupta emphasized the continuing inspiration derived from Lord Hanuman, who embodies service and bravery, as she prayed for the welfare, peace, and prosperity of Delhi's residents. Alongside other devotees, Gupta recited the Hanuman Chalisa.

Addressing the gathered devotees and temple trustees, Gupta underscored the Delhi government's dedication to maintaining the city’s cultural and spiritual heritage, noting that such gatherings promote societal cohesion and spread positive energy.
