A state trooper, who was part of Governor Kelly Ayotte's security detail, was first on the scene to find the vehicle engulfed in flames with a passenger trapped inside. Displaying laudable bravery, the trooper, with assistance from the governor and nearby individuals, managed to extricate Mirman from the fiery wreckage, pulling him through a car window.
Currently hospitalized, the 51-year-old actor is said to have serious injuries. Authorities have yet to press any charges as the investigation continues.
