The Water Transversality Global Awards & Conclave 2026, hosted by the India Water Foundation, commenced at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event, supported by 45 national and international organizations, aimed to highlight the integration of the water-energy-health-environment nexus.
Sh. Om Birla, Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha and Chief Guest, stressed the importance of sustainable development and acknowledged the India Water Foundation's role in addressing global challenges. Dr. Arvind Kumar, President of the foundation, emphasized that policies should adopt an integrated approach to these interconnected issues.
The two-day event brought together global experts and policymakers to deliberate on ESG transversality. The awards recognized 49 individuals and organizations for their contributions to sustainability and innovation. The conclave concluded with discussions on governance, policy innovation, and global partnerships.
