The Maharashtra government, in a bid to bolster women's security and rights, unveiled the 'Mahila Sanman Portal' and inaugurated a cyber wellness cell. These initiatives, spearheaded by Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar, mark a significant step towards enhancing education and financial support for women.

Launched by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women during International Women's Day celebrations, the portal allows women to file complaints online, promoting transparency and accountability. Alongside, the cyber wellness cell addresses cyber crimes, ensuring quicker investigations and safeguarding digital evidence.

Rupali Chakankar, Chairperson of the commission, highlighted Maharashtra's pioneering role in establishing a dedicated grievance redressal portal. The event also celebrated individuals and organizations contributing to women's empowerment across the state, reaffirming the government's commitment to women's rights and safety.
