On Thursday, BJP national president Nitin Nabin visited a tea garden in Assam's Dibrugarh district, commending the labourers for their relentless dedication, which has brought international recognition to Assam's tea. Joining him were Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, BJP's Assam unit president Dilip Saikia, and state Culture Minister Bimal Borah.

Nabin expressed admiration on social media for Assam's tea gardens, emphasizing their natural beauty and the acclaimed quality of Assam tea, attributing this to the unwavering effort of the tea workers. He also visited the Barekuri 'Naamghar' in Tinsukia, a spiritual site significant to the Moran community.

During his visit, Nabin prayed for India's peace and prosperity and noted the coexistence of devotion and nature in Barekuri, home to the rare Hoolock Gibbons. He also visited the Moidam of Matak ruler Sarbananda Singha, paying tribute to his legacy, and planned to address party workers at the Manohari Tea Garden.
