Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to pay a brief visit to the ISKCON temple in Mayapur, West Bengal, to participate in a religious program, with no political activities planned, as per BJP sources.

The trip, lasting approximately two hours, will involve rituals and offerings at the temple complex, which serves as the global headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Shah is expected to deliver a speech during the event commemorating a spiritual leader's birth anniversary.

Despite speculation, BJP officials have confirmed the absence of any political meetings during the visit, focusing entirely on the devotional aspects. Accompanied by senior BJP leaders, Shah will return to Kolkata before flying back to New Delhi later in the day.
