Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made the announcement during the opening of Vikramotsav 2026 in Ujjain, a festival dedicated to celebrating Ujjain's rich traditions. Yadav remarked on Vikramaditya's influence as an exemplar of valour, governance, and justice, rights that remain deeply rooted in the state's identity.
The event also highlighted future developments, including infrastructure improvements around the holy city and preparations for the Simhastha 2028, enhancing the city's spiritual and cultural engagement. Ujjain's history as a center of science, culture, and learning continues through these initiatives.
