In a significant event coinciding with Mahashivratri celebrations, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled the inaugural Bhavya Bharat Bhushan Awards at the Isha Yoga Centre, honoring distinguished individuals and institutions for their outstanding contributions to India’s progress.
The awards, instituted by the Isha Foundation, recognize excellence across diverse sectors including science, arts, sports, and military. Noteworthy recipients include Nambi Narayan and Kiran Kumar for technological advancements, classical dancer Alarmel Valli, and badminton icon Saina Nehwal.
The Indian Armed Forces received special recognition for their exemplary service in Operation Sindoor, reflecting the awards' commitment to acknowledging both humanitarian efforts and decisive actions.
