Record Turnout at G-Tech Marathon: A Run for Fitness and Against Drugs
The fourth G-Tech Marathon witnessed over 10,000 participants, including IT professionals and government officials, running to raise awareness against drug abuse. Sonu Yadav and Chandrawanti Kumari won the men's and women's half-marathons respectively, celebrating fitness with a diverse range of participants aged from eight months to 97 years.

Over 10,000 runners took to the streets in Kerala for the fourth edition of the G-Tech Marathon, making it the largest marathon event in the state. Organized by the Group of Technology Companies (G-Tech), the event aimed to raise awareness against drug abuse while promoting fitness.
Air Force officer Sonu Yadav from Jaipur and Chandrawanti Kumari from Nawada, Bihar, clinched the top spots in the men's and women's half-marathons, respectively. Yadav finished the 21.1 km race in 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 44 seconds, while Kumari completed her run in 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 7 seconds.
The diverse participation spanned ages from eight months to 97 years. Actor Arjun Ashokan participated as well, joining the 3-km run alongside his family. With themes of 'No to Drugs, Yes to Fitness', the event underscored community spirit and determination to combat drug abuse.
