Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday unveiled a statue of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder, K B Hedgewar, in east Delhi. The ceremony, held at the Hedgewar Arogya Sansthan Hospital in Shahdara, marks the 100th anniversary of RSS's founding and highlights its dedication to national service.
The statue of Hedgewar, a figure known for his dedication to cultural and social transformation, stands as a testament to the spirit of 'nation first'. The chief minister emphasized the inspiration drawn from Hedgewar's founding of the RSS, which has grown from a small group to an expansive organization.
During the event, Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh and other dignitaries joined to celebrate the milestone. Gupta announced plans to expand the hospital and detailed advancements in hospital digitization, aligning with Hedgewar's vision of societal improvement and development.
