President Droupadi Murmu embarked on a significant visit to Puri and Rairangpur on Wednesday. She commenced her journey by performing the 'Pinda Daan' ritual at Puri's Sweta Ganga tank, seeking liberation for her ancestors.
Without adhering strictly to protocol, Murmu engaged with the public, offering chocolates to children and greeting the elders. Later, she inaugurated multiple development projects in her hometown Rairangpur.
The President's announcements emphasized tribal development, proclaiming the government's dedication to improving health, education, and economic conditions. She appealed for collective effort towards national development, highlighting the advantages of governmental schemes.
