Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday pledged the holistic development and upliftment of all societal sections, announcing over Rs 1,000 crore in approved development projects for the national capital's rural areas.
Speaking at the Mangolpuri assembly constituency, Gupta assured no resource shortages for the area's development. She inaugurated the Maharshi Durbalnath Dham Centre and unveiled Maharaja Agrasen's statue, celebrating their contributions to unity and social harmony.
Highlighting Delhi's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gupta noted major cultural events celebrated this year, enhancing Delhi's cultural and spiritual vibrancy. The grand Deepotsav in Delhi, second only to Ayodhya, featured 1.25 lakh lit lamps and a drone show near India Gate.
