Piyush Pandey, the Jaipur-born advertising maestro and Padma Shri awardee, passed away on Friday, leaving a void in the Indian advertising industry. Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde expressed profound sorrow and lauded Pandey's immense contribution to the field.
Governor Bagde, in a statement from the Raj Bhavan, highlighted Pandey as a towering figure whose work transformed Indian advertising. He also offered prayers for peace for Pandey's soul and strength for his family during this difficult time.
Echoing similar sentiments, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, in a heartfelt post on X, described Pandey’s demise as 'deeply saddening.' Sharma noted Pandey's creative genius and the new identity he brought to Indian advertising, offering condolences to the bereaved family.
