Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to host celebratory events at his residence in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, marking the onset of the Gujarati New Year. According to BJP sources, the occasion will encompass traditional rituals and greetings for visitors.
Alongside Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Shah will participate in public ceremonies in his home state for the Diwali festivities on Thursday. Notably, his appearance will serve a dual purpose as it coincides with his birthday, offering an additional reason for the celebrations.
The BJP's statement emphasized that during his stay, Shah is slated to inaugurate new MLA quarters and participate in the unveiling of a road project in Gandhinagar on October 23, reinforcing his role and commitments towards regional development.
