Innovative Minds: DU's UGREE 2026 Celebrates Research and Entrepreneurship

The University of Delhi concluded its two-day 'Undergraduate Research and Entrepreneurship Exhibition 2026' (UGREE) on Thursday. Fourth-year undergraduate students showcased their research and innovation, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020.
A total of 480 students participated, with 387 presenting research posters, 48 delivering oral presentations, and 45 showcasing entrepreneurial projects. Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh announced plans to increase credits for dissertations and similar projects to encourage research.
Avinash Chandra Pandey, the event's chief guest, praised DU's implementation of the four-year undergraduate programme under NEP 2020. The exhibition reflects the university's growing focus on research in undergraduate education.
