Outstanding Achievers Shine as NBSE Announces Exam Results
The Nagaland Board of School Education announced class 10 and 12 exam results, declaring a pass percentage of 72.07% and 85.46%, respectively. Aman Kumar topped the class 10 exams with 98.33%, while Menguhaankum Chang, Keleno Thorie, and Shreya Debnath led in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams, respectively, in class 12 results.

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) revealed the outcomes of the class 10 and 12 examinations on Thursday. The results showcased a notable pass percentage of 72.07% for class 10 and 85.46% for class 12. This year's results highlighted several high-achieving students across different streams.
Aman Kumar of MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, emerged as the top performer in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination by securing 590 marks, which translates to 98.33%. He received accolades including the NBSE Topper Award and the Governor's Gold Medal. Meanwhile, Menguhaankum Chang, Keleno Thorie, and Shreya Debnath topped the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams respectively in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams.
The Board has announced that the marksheets will be distributed from May 1 to May 5 through respective institutions. Those interested in rescrutiny can apply within 15 days, and compartmental as well as improvement exams are planned for June 2026.
