University of London to Set Foot in Hyderabad: An Academic Revolution
The University of London plans to open an offshore campus in Hyderabad by 2027. Telangana's government is in collaboration to facilitate this educational milestone, aiming to transform the Bharat Future City into a global knowledge hub. Other international universities are also anticipated to join this venture.

The University of London is making strides to establish its offshore campus in Hyderabad, according to Telangana government sources. The University has begun the University Grants Commission (UGC) application process to admit its first students by the 2027 academic year.
Initially, the university will set up a temporary office at the Lake View government guesthouse. Eventually, it will move to a permanent location in the 'Bharat Future City,' a futuristic hub being developed on Hyderabad's outskirts by the state government.
This move is part of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's strategic initiative to attract global educational institutions, transforming Hyderabad into a major knowledge center. The Telangana government plans to sign agreements with several other international universities soon, further embedding educational excellence in the region.
