The University of Aberdeen's Mumbai campus is strengthening ties between academia and industry by establishing two strategic advisory boards. The Industry Advisory Board (IAB) and the Alumni Advisory Board aim to align the university's academic programs with evolving industry demands, ensuring students are well-prepared for the workforce.
The IAB will consist of senior industry leaders offering insights into curriculum development, employability initiatives, and research collaboration. The board is expected to enhance industry engagement through lectures, workshops, and internship opportunities.
Meanwhile, the Alumni Advisory Board will leverage the university's global alumni network to provide career guidance and strengthen employer linkages. Both boards will play a crucial role as the university prepares to open its Mumbai campus, focusing on a globally competitive, industry-integrated educational experience for students in September 2026.
