In an impressive display of innovation, Karnataka's student innovators took center stage at the NAIN Innovation Conclave, showcasing solutions in AI, healthcare, and digital infrastructure. Hosted at the IIIT-B Innovation Centre, the event provided a platform for students, industry leaders, and government representatives to connect and explore real-world solutions.
Karnataka's commitment to fostering innovation was evident through initiatives like the New Age Incubation Network, extending innovation beyond Bengaluru. This initiative now spans 76 institutions, supports over 2,300 students, and has led to the creation of more than 60 startups.
Highlights of the conclave included a drone-based disaster monitoring system for glacier analysis, an AI-enabled Braille learning device, and an eco-friendly paper production method. The event underscored the region's focus on intellectual property creation and commercialization, positioning Karnataka as a hub for innovation beyond its capital.
