Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assessed the progress of Maa Vindhyavasini University's construction on Tuesday, pushing for completion by May 31. Emphasizing the importance of quality and timelines, Adityanath instructed officials to ensure the development of internal roads and drinking water facilities.
Further directing the university administration, the CM urged the introduction of courses focused on skill development and employment, benefiting the youth in Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, and neighboring areas. A requisition for Group C employee appointments has been sent, with government action awaited.
Adityanath also reviewed academic and administrative structures, emphasizing strict adherence to construction standards. He endorsed a large-scale plantation initiative in collaboration with the Forest Department, involving faculty, students, and staff during the forthcoming monsoon season.
