EAGLE Force recently uncovered a student-led drug operation in Warangal and Peddapalli districts, highlighting a grave issue concerning educational institutions. According to a statement, eight students pooled funds to purchase and sell drugs, leading to the arrest of three individuals transporting ganja.

The arrested students included a BTech third-year and an Intermediate second-year student apprehended while transporting contraband on a motorcycle. Investigations revealed another accomplice, the motorcycle's owner, in Peddapalli. Authorities seized 36.8 kg of ganja worth Rs 18.4 lakh, linked to a supplier from Odisha.

This incident marks the fourth instance of student involvement in such activities, severely impacting youth and educational environments in Karimnagar and Hyderabad. EAGLE Force has formed special teams to arrest remaining suspects as investigations continue, emphasizing a failure in monitoring by colleges and families.
