A student has tragically lost his life while three others sustained serious injuries during a violent clash between two student groups in a college in Maharashtra's Latur city, according to police reports.
The incident unfolded on Monday evening within the college premises on Ausa Road, following a personal dispute between two groups of third-year diploma students.
Authorities identified the deceased as 20-year-old Vikram Narayan Panchal, who was unintendedly caught in the conflict. Police have since arrested four students linked to the attack, spurring local MLA Amit Deshmukh to urge action against escalating crime in the city.
