Tragedy in Indore: Allegations of Ragging Surface After Student's Death

The family of Antariksh Agrawal, a first-year MBBS student at Government Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, alleges he was driven to suicide due to ragging and bullying. Agrawal's body was discovered hanging in his hostel room earlier this week.

Agrawal's father, Pankaj, expressed anguish over his son's reported ordeal at the college, which left him deeply disturbed. Despite police suspicions of academic stress being a factor, the family disputes this narrative, arguing his academic history doesn't support it.

As investigations continue, the police are collecting CCTV footage, while the college has formed a committee to probe the death. Authorities await formal statements from the grieving family post-rites, which could shed light on the alleged misconduct he faced.
