Noida, October 27, 2025: College Vidya marked Online Education Day to honor learners, educators, and universities driving the digital learning revolution in India. Celebrated on College Vidya's Foundation Day, October 25, the event focused on how technology enhances education access and opportunities for millions. Aiming for annual sector-wide observance, the goal is to gain official recognition from bodies such as UGC and AICTE.
In its inaugural celebration, College Vidya invited online universities nationwide to engage through video messages, student stories, and scholarships. Institutions are encouraged to express support and highlight a shared commitment to credible, learner-centric online education. College Vidya reinforces its dedication to inclusiveness by providing ₹4.7 crore in aid to assist meritorious and underrepresented students.
Founder and COO Rohit Gupta stated, "Online education is the great equalizer, enabling millions outside traditional classrooms. Our vision is to make quality education reach every corner of India." College Vidya also launched a 'Learner Stories' campaign, highlighting transformations via student videos and symbolic gestures like celebratory cakes. New initiatives include 50% subsidies for transgender learners, demonstrating commitment to inclusivity in online education.
