The Chery Group has reinforced its commitment to global education by renewing its partnership with UNICEF, pledging an additional $6 million over the coming three years. This effort aims to provide quality education to children worldwide, prioritizing the most vulnerable, including those in China, Mexico, South Africa, Türkiye, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
UNICEF highlights that educational inequality remains a significant global issue, with over 600 million children struggling to meet minimum proficiency levels. Many of these children face challenges like poverty, conflict, or disabilities, hindering their access to quality education, despite being enrolled in schools.
Chery Group's commitment since 2023 has been pivotal in reaching millions of children. The organization's dedication to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility is evident in its continued support for educational initiatives. With this renewed partnership, both organizations aim to foster an inclusive educational environment, supporting disadvantaged children globally.
