In a significant accomplishment, India has surpassed an export milestone, reaching a record USD 860 billion in goods and services for the fiscal year 2025-26. This achievement highlights the country's robust economic capabilities despite global challenges.
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced the remarkable figures, attributing the success to India's expanding global trade footprint. This is an increase from the USD 825 billion recorded in the previous fiscal year 2024-25.
Goyal further emphasized that recent trade agreements would bolster India's export growth by opening new markets and unlocking opportunities across various sectors.
